The 2021 edition of the Crown Council’s Smiles For Life campaign is in the rear view mirror!
Each year Smiles For Life raises money from March through June, to benefit needy children all over the world. We want to give a big thank-you to everyone who took part this year: from the dentists who whitened teeth for charity, to the patients who whitened their teeth to help kids!
The program has raised more than forty million dollars since its inception in 1997. “Smiles for Life is one of the most successful and long-lasting and unique charitable campaigns in all of dentistry,” says Greg Anderson, Managing Director of Crown Council.
It wouldn’t work without the participation of Ultradent, a leading maker of high-tech dental products and instruments. “They give us [teeth whitening] kits absolutely free,” Anderson said. “Last year they donated over ten thousand kits.”
Every penny raised through Smiles For Life goes to approved children’s charities. Participants include:
- St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
- Ronald McDonald House
- Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation
- Feed the Children
If you missed out, there’s always next year! Interested dentists can find out more about Smiles For Life participation. We invite you to visit the Smiles For Life Facebook page to help spread the word!
