Time is winding down on the 2018 edition of Smiles for Life, Crown Council’s charity to help hundreds of children’s charities. The Smiles for Life Foundation has raised more than forty million dollars since 1998. This year’s edition began in March and runs through June.
Here’s how it works. Dental practices all across the United States and Canada, each of them members of the Crown Council, are providing their teeth whitening services to the program. Instead of paying the dentist, patients write a check directly to the Smiles for Life Foundation.
Teeth whitening supplies have all been donated by Ultradent, the maker of Boost in-office whitening and Opalescence take-home whitening trays. You can help a worthy cause, and at the same time get yourself a dazzling white smile!
100% of the money raised goes to the Smiles for Life Foundation. Half of those donations go to the dental practice’s local charity partner, and the rest goes to the Foundation. Smiles for Life distributes the funds to approved children’s charities throughout the U.S., Canada, and the world.
Participating charities include the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation, Feed the Children, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House, and many others.
Crown Council is an association of dental professionals who are committed to promoting oral health, and to serving their communities through charitable work.
